A big part of getting healthy goes beyond just exercising. You want to cleanse all aspects of your life, including your home. Living in a clean, healthy environment will give you more energy and help you become physically fit. From the person just beginning a fitness routine to an aspiring personal trainer, anyone will improve their health by cleaning up their surroundings at home.

Most people believe that they can shut away all of the air pollution and other bad stuff simply by closing the front door of their houses. In your own house, you command what sort of air you breathe. Or is that even achievable? This actually is not the case, as closing the door is no guarantee for health.

If you pay attention and look close enough, you will discover all sorts of pollutants that can infect the air of your home and increase your risk of respiratory problems and asthma. This is a tiny bit because homes are now constructed to be more air tight–better sealed windows, doors, etc have been created in an attempt to keep cooling and warming charges under control. Sadly, those electricity savings are elevating the pollutants in the air of our homes.

One easy thing to do is leaving your shoes outside the house if you can. If that’s not feasible, leave them within your residence’s entry way. No matter where you walk, the soles of your footwear get covered in mildew, chemicals, bacteria, filth and dust.

When you track these items into your house, it settles into the carpets and flooring. Then a person kicks it up once more whenever you walk back over it. Instead of staying in the floors it goes back up into the air flow and you increase your likelihood of breathing it in. If you take off your shoes and boots outside the house or within the entry way of your property, you reduce this risk by leaps and bounds.

Don’t grab your dry cleaning immediately. Let it be at the cleaner’s for a few days. Apparel that has just been recently dry cleaned is saturated with chemicals that are incredibly harmful. The toxins, according to the EPA, have been linked to brain troubles and cancer.

You run the danger of both breathing in those chemicals and transmitting them onto your skin if the clothing you pick up hasn’t dried all the way yet. It’s also a good idea to use a dry cleaner that uses the more sophisticated, non-toxic and environmentally friendly dry cleaning techniques.

Ventilate the house! We know that you put in those new windows because you wanted better control over your home’s temperature. But if you leave those windows sealed all day and night, you’re boosting your risk of breathing in the stuff you kick up as you walk around.

The smoke and fumes that permeate your house if you cook on the stove or with your oven don’t ever dissipate. Your shower’s steam could seep straight into your walls which will cause mold to form which you then breathe in and get sick from. Turn on the fans. Open up your windows. Give the kicked up junk a chance to escape.

Once your house is cleaned up, it will be like a shrine. You’ll have the freedom to work there and do anything else you want, which includes getting your personal training certification online or working out in the comfort of your own home.
